THE BUSINESS CHALLENGE
What is getting in the way?
- Anyone can sign up, and the app relies only on the screen to hide other data.
- Every staff member can delete bills or change prices.
- Backups exist on paper but have never been restored.
M AZLAN TECHNOLOGIES
Seven questions to ask about any online system that holds your customers, balances and sales.
A login screen does not make an app secure. What matters is whether the database itself stops one user, or one business, from reading another’s records; whether staff can only do what the owner allowed; and whether you can restore yesterday’s data if something goes wrong. These questions apply to ready-made SaaS, custom apps and apps built on Supabase or PostgreSQL alike.
THE BUSINESS CHALLENGE
WHAT TO INCLUDE
WORKFLOW EXAMPLE
An owner asks their software provider three things: show me what a cashier cannot do, show me where deletions are logged, and restore last night’s backup to a test copy. A provider who can answer all three in a demo has thought about security.
Illustrative requirement, not a claim about a particular client’s results.QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS SOLUTION
Yes, with your permission and access. We review database rules, roles, exposed functions and backup practice, and give you a written list of issues and fixes.
Not automatically. Supabase gives you row-level security and roles, but each table and function must be configured correctly. Missing policies are a common cause of data exposure.
Each business’s data is separated in the database with row-level security, staff permissions are checked on the server, deletions and price changes are logged, and every database change starts with a backup.
Dekhein ke database har business ka data alag rakhta hai, staff permissions server par check hoti hain aur backup restore karke test hua hai.
Tables, policies, roles aur functions ka access review hota hai, phir issues aur fixes ki list milti hai.
